Heather's Income (Still More Couches and Chairs)

In Math 10 class this week, students have been learning about constraints and how those constraints affect possible outcomes. Today, students completed "Focus B" and "Investigation 3 - Part A" on pp. 310 & 311 on the topic of "finding a feasible solution to a problem" . They were given a list of constraints then asked to create possible values that either satisfied the constraints or did not satisfy the constraints. Once they compiled their values, they were then required to use their values along with two other students' values and graph both the satisfied and not satisfied constraints onto one graph. We will be discussing their findings tomorrow in class.
