Today in Math 10 class, we completed a review of our unit on "Modeling Functional Relationships". We also began working on our new unit "The Geometry of Packaging". There are only 37 school days left until exams begin so it is extremely important that students attend class and complete their work. The countdown is on!
I also would like to thank all the parents who met with me during parent/teacher interviews. I have a quote attached to the front of my lesson plans binder which reads, "The one factor that enhances the learning environment and student achievement is parental involvement - not meddling, not blaming, not criticizing, but sincere helpful involvement". I always am saying how thankful I am to have such a great group of students but I also am thankful to have such a great group of parents!
